The leaves are falling and it’s cold AF outside, which is better for Fall fashion because it means you can wear more layers (i.e., shop for more clothes). It means you can eat one more piece of pizza and you don’t have to feel guilty because you can wear a giant faux fur jacket that will hide all the pizza rolls (if you are concerned with that sort of stuff or whateva). I can’t eat pizza because I’m lactose intolerant, so I’ll stick with burgers.
I’ve been obsessed with 2018 Fall trends because of how much leopard has made a come back. I remember in Korea, leopard was worn by old grannies so I never thought it was something I could fathom to be fashionable. Well, I was proven extremely wrong. I guess those ah-jum-ma’s (grannies) really knew what was up.
So yes, leopard is here and I’m really glad. You can style this amazing fall trend with a jeans and a white tee or go all out. Obviously, I choose the ladder. Which type of leopard wear-er are you?
Burgundy is a stand out Fall trend color that I’ve been admiring. I feel like it’s everywhere. On Fur, in jumpsuits, hats and even simple tees come in this color. It’s a neutral that subtly stands out and looks good on everyone.
Faux Fur has always been a thing and it’s thing again this year. This year, I feel like it’s made a bigger splash than previous years. From the yeti-like fuzzy jacket from Fried Rice sold at Clementines (Seattle) to this Burgundy teddy jacket from Haute2Wear, you’ve got your options to be xtra. I feel like every corner boutique has a faux fur jacket on it’s racks ready to engulf you with warmth and fuzzies. I’m not mad about it.
Out of these three 2018 Fall trends, what is your favorite? Am I missing any? Let me know in the comments below! If you want to escape from Fall, don’t forget to watch my Hawaii Vlog here.
