Trendy Spring Style: Tips That Won’t Break Your Budget

I’m back with another trendy Spring style tips that won’t break your budget! #springstyle #partner

Before I start, I want to say thank you for all the love on my last YouTube video I really appreciate your kind words. I didn’t really know what to expect after opening up and being more vulnerable this way, but the love has been amazing and I just want to say thank you!

This week, I’m back with another Spring style edit from Dash of Sass sister boutique Model Citizen! Last week I shared some of my style ideas from Dash of Sass boutique for a more fun, poppy, and feminine look. This week, I want to show you some fun styles that brings a little bit of pattern and good vibes to your wardrobe.

I don’t know why but when I first started fashion blogging, I thought that styling was so daunting. I thought it had to either a) cost a lot of money or b) be a name brand item or c) be super trendy to make it look “stylish.” I’m re-fining my style these days, but I’ve realized that I’ve had a wrong perception about cultivating that “look” I always wanted. Styling something can change completely even by adding a pop of color in your hair tie or adding a pin to your side part – it really makes all the difference.

So here are three spring style tips and edits from Model Citizen in Huntington Beach –

Snakeskin wrap skirt with a “good vibes” eggshell color graphic tee. The eggshell color pattern hair tie makes such a difference in this outfit. With it, the hair tie really pulls everything together! Rather than a regular hair tie, use something like this so that it flows with your hair and gives a little more “editorial” look to your everyday wardrobe.

Low cut back snakeskin jumpsuit with wide brim black hat (aka: “blogger hat”). First of all, I love how low cut this back is which can be dressed for the winter (if you put a turtle neck underneath) or you can wear it as is for the Spring/Summer. Again, the hat can be worn for different purposes, but it really pulls this outfit together and makes it look like you put a lot of effort in it, when it’s literally just a jumpsuit and a hat (literally, two pieces to make this outfit).

Blue and black cheetah print dark chocolate satin dress with a (very) fluffy and soft teddy jacket. This outfit is something I feel like I could live in because it’s so soft and cozy. I love how the blue fluff adds a little extra to the outfit. Spring Style tip: Try adding different textures together and see what you think! Satin and teddy jacket texture (?) goes really well together for some reason. So try to put two things together you wouldn’t think goes together and you would be surprised!

For this outfit, I would recommend wearing it off your shoulder to give that flirty sexy vibe on your way out (unless it’s really cold, then girl, don’t trip, put the jacket on).

I hope you enjoyed this spring style edit from Model Citizen in Huntington Beach (324 Main St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648). Don’t forget to check out their store and tag #saltystyle if you try any of these outfits!
